The Time Has Changed for the BYU soccer game

I think everyone has been notified that the BYU soccer game has been changed to 1:00 on Saturday. We will be meeting at my house at 12:30. Sorry for the short notice on the change!

BYU Soccer Game!

Hi everyone! I am sorry that I am so late posting this! The BYU women's soccer team will be playing San Diego State on Saturday, Oct. 11 @ 8:00pm. That's a bit later than I thought it was going to be, but we'd still like to go. The cost is $5 and we will be meeting at my house at 7:30pm. Brad and I will be taking two cars and we have enough seat belts for everyone. We will take everyone home after the game.

If you would like to come as a family, the game will be held at the South Field Stadium.

Here are the directions to my house:

• From the highway by Walmart (US-89) turn onto 6800 W (the road that Costco is on). Take this road all the way up the hill. Go straight through the 4-way stop at the top of the hill.
  
• Turn left on 9900 North. (This street name turns into 1965 North b/c you are entering Lehi.)
• Turn right onto 1700 East. (There will be stop sign)
• Turn left onto 2000 North.
• Turn right onto 1550 East.
• Our house is the third house on the left. 2079 N 1550 E, Lehi.

Game 7!

It's hard to believe that we only have 2 games left! Let's remember to use good short passes tonight as well as good attacking skills on defense!

As of right now, we are not rained out tonight. We will still be playing at 5:30 and wearing our purple jerseys. See you there!

Game 4!

Tonight's game is at 6:30 and we will wear our White Jerseys. It has been a little colder the past couple of days, so you may want to bring a little jacket to put on while you are sitting on the sideline if you are a sub.

Also, last week we used one of our Lehi City soccer balls for the game. Unfortunately the ball disappeared after the game was over. If you have a gray soccer game with "Lehi City" written on it, please bring it to the game tonight.

Hi everyone. Remember tonight's game is at 6:30. Please be there 15 minutes early to warm up. Don't forget your water!

Also, this week we will be starting normal soccer practice times. So, Thursday from 6-7:30 and Saturday from 10-11:30.

First game!

Great practices this week! Remember, our practice today, Saturday, is from 10-11 am.

Here are a couple of reminders for the coming week:

• Our first game is Tuesday at 5:30. Please be there 15 minutes early so that we can warm up together.
• Please remember to wear your JERSEY and your SHIN GUARDS to each game. They are required! If you haven't purchased a jersey, you can buy them at the Legacy Center.
  
• Don't forget to bring water.
• Now that games are starting, we will have practices THURSDAY NIGHTS from 6:00-7:30 and SATURDAY MORNINGS from 10:00-11:30.

Game On!

Hello everyone! We are so excited for this soccer season to begin! Here are a few things you need to know before we begin.

• Shin guards are required for all games. These can be purchased at most sporting goods stores as well as Wal-Mart and Target. Please wear your shin guards during practice as well. Cleats are not mandatory.
• Lehi City has given us three soccer balls to use at practice. If you have a soccer ball (we will be playing with a #5 ball) please bring it to practice. (Don't forget to write your name on your ball to avoid confusion.)
  
• Staying hydrated while you exercise is very important! Please remember to bring water to practices and games.

• We will be placing a huge emphasis on sportsmanship. Working hard, playing fair, and cheering each other on will make all the difference in how much fun we have playing soccer. Parents, please make sure you have completed the S.A.G.E. program before we begin our games. You can complete it online at Lehi City's website, or call them if you have any questions. The Legacy Center's phone number is 768-7124.
• For our age group, 10 girls play at once. Nine on the field and one in the goal. We have a total of 11 girls on our team (which means we will have only one substitute!) so being to games on time will be extremely important. If there are any transportation issues, please let me know. We will do everything we can to facilitate car pooling if that is needed.

We will be having three practices next week to get us ready for our first game (which is August 12 at 5:30 at Allred Park. 560N. 750 W.) This is next week's practice schedule: Tuesday, Aug. 5 @ 6:00pm, Thursday, Aug. 7 @6:00pm, and Saturday, Aug. 9 @10:00am. Each practice will last 1 hour.

*We will have a brief parent's meeting at the beginning of practice on Tuesday, Aug. 5. I look forward to meeting all of you. I will be passing out our game schedule and the information for team pictures.

Once we start our game schedule, we will practice 2 times a week. Practices will be Thursday nights from 6:00-7:30pm and Saturday mornings from 10:00-11:30am. All practices will be held at Summer Crest Park (1900 N 1150 E, Lehi).
